The Temperature Split Misconception

With record humidity levels hitting the East Coast, Jim has an important reminder about why you might see temperature splits as low as 13 degrees during these conditions. When humidity is high, systems shift to performing more latent cooling (dehumidification) than sensible cooling, resulting in lower temperature splits that are completely normal. Following measureQuick's calculated target splits rather than rules of thumb is crucial to avoid improper airflow adjustments that could cause problems once humidity normalizes. Watch below!

NAVAC Joins the measureQuick Family

We're excited to announce that NAVAC's innovative smart tools are now fully compatible with measureQuick! What sets these tools apart:

The lineup includes psychrometers with comprehensive readings, temperature clamps, pressure probes, and the NX1 Nexus digital manifold—all seamlessly connecting within your measureQuick toolbox.

Quality Installation Certificates: Protect Your Business & Reputation

This horse ain't dead yet, so we're still kicking it: Over 70% of residential HVAC systems are installed incorrectly, which leads to unhappy customers and creates significant liability for HVAC businesses.

The consequences can be severe:

  • Callbacks that erode profit margins
  • Warranty claims that manufacturers can deny due to improper installation
  • Potential litigation from homeowners facing high utility bills or premature equipment failure
  • Reputation damage in an increasingly review-driven marketplace

ACCA Quality Installation (QI) Certificates provide third-party verification that your installations meet industry standards—protecting your business while differentiating your services from competitors who cut corners.

Val demonstrates how to generate an ACCA QI Certificate in the video below:
